Penulis lahir 1 Juli 1976 di Medan. Menyelesaikan Studi Sarjana Theologia di Sekolah Tinggi Theologia HKBP tahun 1999, Studi Magister Theologia di Sekolah Tinggi Theologia HKBP tahun 2004, Studi Master of Theology di Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago (LSTC–Chicago, USA) tahun 2008, dan studi Doctor of Philosophy di Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago (LSTC–Chicago, USA) tahun 2012. Saat ini bertugas sebagai dosen di Sekolah Tinggi Theologia HKBP Pematang Siantar bidang Teologi Sistematika. Pada tahun 2012 memperoleh “2012 Humanitarian Service Award” Received from Secretary of State; State of Illinois United States of America. Karya pertama penulis adalah buku yang berjudul: SOLA GRATIA: REKONSILIASI SANG REKONSILIATOR (Penerbit Widina Bhakti Persada, Bandung–Tahun 2021).
